Design

At my day job I spend a lot of time at the intersection of design and code. A big part of this is reviewing design comps from agencies, advising clients on what’s achievable in what timeframe, working with designers on ways to match the client’s budget without sacrificing the core of the design, and then translating those designs into a system that works long term.

As such I get to reflect a lot on web design, on what works and what doesn’t, from an engineering perspective. Here’s where I will be hashing out my inadequate, non-designer thoughts.
